This is the final message in a five-part series called, Purifying the Heart. In 1 Corinthians 10:10, Paul says that we must not "grumble, as some of them did and were destroyed by the Destroyer." There are many examples of grumbling in the Old Testament, but the example Paul is specifically referring to is Korah's rebellion.
Our relationship with Jesus begins when we surrender to His Lordship. We then go on a journey of learning to trust Him, forsaking our temptation to complain and blame the Lord for our difficulties, and learning to follow the leaders that God puts into our lives through our local church.
